Check out this bad boy, the Carlos Pandango SE.
Unfortunately there are a few parts missing, someone has robbed the second set of spots and there is obviously more room for marker lights at the back once I've found some suitcases big enough to carry my vintage apparel with me. Plenty of room for me and the "Ol Lady" (christ I hope she doesn't reed this) and the crowning glory, bar riser mounted cigar lighter, cue Air on G string.

I have been listening to The 'Best Of The Stray Cats' album a lot recently at Tri-Co.
I hadn't heard this song for something like 15 years and I forgot just how great it was.

This book is amazing! Akira Kobayashi spent the whole year of 1969 living in Venice, California and he shots some epic images. Some you would have seen before...especially the Denvers Choppers shots...but the rest are just as mind blowing.

Hot Bike Japan
My good friend Izumi Shirase is an absolute maniac. The first time I met him was at a party in downtown Los Angeles and he was extremely intoxicated and was in the middle of getting a homemade tattoo that read 'Harly Davison'. As you can imagine we became friends for life from that moment on. What I didn't realize at the time was that he was one of the original co founders of the legendary Hot Bike Japan magazine. They are celebrating their 20th year anniversary and are the first ever Harley Davidson only publication in Japan! The other co founder is chief editor, Shin Ikeda. It is my favourite Japanese magazine and it didn't take long for me to weasel my way in with Izumi and promise him all kinds of amazing things I could never make happen, and he put me on the payroll with HBJ. I have been writing my own essay page for the past 10 issues and I can honestly say they are terrible. One that comes to mind was 'Ultimate Biker Pet'...the snake was stupid and the dog was too cute. The chimp won by miles because it is the ultimate punching, smoking, passenger.
Congrats Hot Bike Japan...I can't believe people are still buying that shit after 20 years.

New Tri Co Stickers
We now have these bad boys in stock at the shop. And what's more is they are free. You don't have to buy anything to get one either. The only drawback is you have to come in and get it.
Loud Pipes Save Lives
and annoy people apparently. I mean I do kind of get it. My bikes are loud, I like that, but then there is loud and then there is LOUD. "Face melting loud" as the man says.
I somehow doubt that "Jay Leno can rev his 1946 Chief up to 92 decibels" though.
