Looking For A Flat

I saw this in a coffee shop in Brooklyn. It made me laugh. I mean, where do I start with this. First of all they own 2 cats, not one but two. Who the hell would want to rent an apartment to people with two malting, smelly cats? Next how many working artists do you know who have steady incomes? really, how many? I know of only one and he is constantly freaking out about paying his rent. Just say you work in Starbucks or something like that, anything would be better. Then lastly they can't decide how much they want to pay. I'm willing to bet they're still looking for somewhere.

Comfy

So our store, Tri-Co in case you didn't know, now has 2 comfortable arm chairs and this wicked antique travel trunk for your comfort.
Only been here 2 days and had plenty of use.

Issue 40.

Ahem...Yes, it's a little late....sorry about that! It's due to being away on The Gypsy Run, Brooklyn Invitational and Dean's wedding...which is tomorrow!
Anyways people...here it is! The big 40!! It's a heavy one for us and we still can't believe that we get to make a magazine about everything we love in this world and people are so supportive of it! For that we would like to thank you and let you know that we feel the love and it makes us want to cry sometimes.
The cover for this monumental issue was made as a 6 foot tile mosaic by our good friend Scotty Rockland and it features the late great Johnny Chop.

You will also find a teaser for the forthcoming French magazine 'Cast Iron' inside issue 40, so don't wait around for it to come to you...ORDER IT NOW!!
ps. Please.

Our Mate Brandon.

"Here you go Dean. This is me and my Grandpa Casquilho. I'm the one on the left. It was 1986. Grandpa was the absolute best. Served in N. African and Italian theater, more than competent carpenter, and the baddest Portage fisherman in Salinas. Possibly the world. Pretty sure he built Cole's house. We have the same birthday, sixty years apart. I'm gonna try and check out on the same day he did too. I miss him more than all the others. xoxox"
