Canters Deli

About once a month on a Sunday I try to get down to the flea market at the Fairfax highschool on Melrose ave, Los Angeles. After a few hours wandering around there I take a short walk down Fairfax to one of my fav LA eating places, Canters Deli. It's been here for like a hundred thousand years or something ( and so have most of the staff come to think of it ). Its great. Crazy ceiling, good food and if you like Strudel than they sell it by the weight. The Kibitiz Room next door is also pretty fantastic, a late night bar with live music, I've had some good nights in there I can tell you. If you come to this city then both places are a must.

Thats right folks, new and exclusive to Dice readers only. You know when you go on a run and end up at some campsite somewhere for the night? well the lighting at most of these establishments is, at best, downright disgraceful. Not anymore, hey presto, now you too can add some class to any event with our new sissy bar bike lamp. Why not be a little more 'chic' than the rest of your bros who are, I might hazard a guess, mostly of the 'shabby' kind right?

Love them all, but the early 2 pipe models with the overheating rear cylinders are my favourite. Mind you it took Suzuki with their brilliant 2 stroke RG500 Gamma version of the square 4 to really make that engine configuration fly.

The Garage Co.....

......have moved from Washington Blvd, Marina del Ray, CA to this humongous place in Inglewood and , Blimey, its fantastic. Quite how Yoshi, Kiyo and the boys stored all this stuff in the old place is beyond me. It's like those tiny bath spounges you can buy that when you add water they expand to 5 times their original size. And they reckon that pretty much everything is going to be for sale this time around, once they get the place open that is. Should be in about 2 weeks. And we all know that a visit to LA is not complete without a trip to the Garage Company right?
