Casa Vega

It may seem like all I eat is Mexican food, that's not true. Not that often at all really. However Casa Vega is one of my all time favourite LA eating places. I was taken here for the first time back in the mid 90's and have been going on and off ever since. There are no windows at all, it's always pretty dark inside, and mostly packed out so be warned, get there early. You will have to wait for a table and its almost impossible to get a seat at the bar. These pics were taken on a Wednesday afternoon at about 4 pm, by the time we left it was standing room only. You have to try the crab and shrimp tostadas. Casa Vega is on Ventura Blvd, Sherman Oaks













Did I mention it's pretty dark inside?

    yup... great place. Was just there last week getting bombed at the bar.
