Presley.
I got a call last week from my good friend JD King...he said:
"Micetich, what are you doing this week?"
I said:
"Loads of stuff mate...trying to sort out 6OVER, getting issue 45 finished, getting my bike running etc etc"
He said:
"Cool, well add rehearsing everyday to all that because we are opening up for Lisa Marie Presley at the Roxy on Sunset Blvd on Tuesday night."
I said:
"Oh."
It was a pretty surreal experience because I am a huge Elvis fan and also the Roxy is a legendary place. The best thing out of all of it though was that I got to play a few Rock n Roll songs with my mate for Annie Fair, Maria and Rosie. Love you guys. x

He likes attacking anything in site…current fav items
to attack..spent toilet rolls, letters coming through the letter box and water
when it’s running from a tap!
He likes Kitty kat super kat chuncky super chunk, part
boiled potatos and prawn crackers!
Current bee and wasp kill….5 and I have had to get
three of those out of his mouth before he gets stung!
He has also been known to read DICE!
He currently oves the new issue with the werewolf cover..Honest.

She likes the sound of a Harley Engine ringtone from my iphone,
watching Mongo get into trouble and kittykat chocy drops.
She also like to run at walls at 100 mph and jump into said
wall at the last minute bouncing off and wondering why it hurt so much!
She currently likes kitty cream milk, sweat and sour pork
and special fried rice.

Some Belts.
We had some really nice high quality leather belts made for us in Utah. Not Chinese rubbish. I am bringing these 5 with me to the Linkert Attacks this weekend. One is sold but the others will be available at the event for 95.00 Euros each.
Chimay and the European Hot Rod And Custom Show Road Trip
I left England in the pouring rain, in fact the rain has been my constant companion on this whole European tour so far. I took the van on the Euro Tunnel train under the English Channel and high tailed it to Chimay in Belgium. On the 250 kms through France to the show I only got lost 3 times, not bad seeing as all I had was a Google Directions print out. I set the Dice booth up right next to our brother Angelo of Sinners Supply and opposite Shige and the Mooneyes boys, so far so good then. The Dice party went off on Friday night, Frankino killed it on the decks. X Ray Specs, T Rex, Hot Boogie Chillun, The Damned, The Sweet, The Black Tibetans and a whole lot more of the good stuff. I got trashed so 4 am to sleep in the back of van then the show the next day. It was very busy, a lot of people and a lot of cars, not too many bikes but still a great day. I spoke to many old friends and said hello to lots of new ones. Shige took the Mooneyes Dragster out for a couple of runs on the strip. Which actually wasn't really a strip at all, just a closed public road. On the second run one of the rear tires bit and the other didn't. He hit the wall and rolled it. 30 minutes later he was hanging out on our booth laughing and smiling about the whole thing. A true hero. On a couple of occasions throughout the day some English hot rodders came over to me and complained about the previous nights music. "It was awful" "Couldn't the DJ see there were lots of turn ups (cuffs) in the crowd? he should of played rocking music" "you ruined our Friday night, we could of gone into town" "He should of played to the rocking crowd" etc etc. Jesus Christ, what the fuck is that all about. Some people are never happy right?. Anyways, Sunday morning and yes, you guessed it, more rain. So I packed up the booth and headed home.

Well...after 2 years of hard work it's here. 6OVER The Movie. A film about 6 people who love and build motorcycles. Not much else to say really except that it has taken a lot of heart and soul from Michael Schmidt, Davey Cooperwasser, Matt, Myself and all of our dear friends that are in this film...Jeremiah Armenta (Love Cycles), Kim Boyle (BCM), Eddie Cleveland (Chun), Caleb Owens (Cro Customs), Max Schaaf (4Q), and Jason Webber (ATR).
We really hope you love it as much as we do!
The first run of DVDs come in a special collectors edition metal case and includes a 20 page booklet.

My buddy Kirk Berridge gave me this pic of his parents. It so classic I wanted to see if you could use it to share.
Cir. 1971, he is age 34, she already had 7 kids by him by the time this picture was taken. They later divorced, she re-married, and he remained single. Kirk says they are still in love.

When I was a boy, man that seems like a long time ago, I remember certain vehicles stopped me in my tracks and had a profound effect on me for what I now realise would be the rest of my life. The first time I saw a Fantic chopper was one of those moments and then also my first sighting of a Jag C Type parked up on the Kings Road in London. I sort of became a little obsessed with both of these machines. I would dream about them at night and sketch versions of them in my school books. I guess some things never change. My heart still aches when I get close to a C Type. I still want one more than life itself and I still dream about them at night. I wonder what it's like to be an adult.

The Jaguar C-Type (also called the Jaguar XK120-C) is a racing sports car built by Jaguar and sold from 1951 to 1953. The "C" designation stood for "competition". The car used the running gear of the contemporary XK120 in a lightweight tubular frame and aerodynamic aluminium body. A total of 52 C-Types were built. The C-Type was successful in racing, most notably at the Le Mans 24 hours race, which it won twice. In 1951 the car won at its first attempt. The factory entered three, whose driver pairings were Stirling Moss and Jack Fairman, Leslie Johnson and 3-times Mille Miglia winner Clemente Biondetti, and the eventual winners, Peter Walker and Peter Whitehead. The Walker/Whitehead car was the only factory entry to finish, the other two retiring with lack of oil pressure. In 1952 Jaguar, worried by a report about the speed of the Mercedes-Benz 300SLs that would run at Le Mans, modified the C-Type’s aerodynamics to increase the top speed. However, the consequent rearrangement of the cooling system made the car vulnerable to overheating. All three retired from the race. The Peter Whitehead/Ian Stewart and Tony Rolt/Duncan Hamilton cars blew head gaskets, and the Stirling Moss/Peter Walker car, the only one not overheating, lost oil pressure after a mechanical breakage. Later testing by Norman Dewis at MIRA after the race proved that it was not the body shape that caused the overheating but mainly the water pump pulley that was undersize, spun too fast, caused cavitation and thus the overheating. What the body shape did do though was to create enormous tail lift, which caused the cars to squirrel their way down the Mulsanne straight at speeds over 120 mph. In 1953 a C-Type won again. This time the body was in thinner, lighter aluminium and the original twin H8 sand cast SU carburettors were replaced by three DCO3 40mm Webers, which helped boost power to 220 bhp. Further weight was saved by using a rubber bag fuel tank ... lighter electrical equipment and thinner gauge steel for some of the chassis tubes ... the most significant change to the cars was the switch to disc brakes. Duncan Hamilton and Tony Rolt won the race at 105.85 mph – the first time Le Mans had been won at an average of over 100 miles per hour. In addition to Le Mans, the C-Type was raced in the 1955 Mille Miglia by Stirling Moss. He set a course record of 10 hours, 7 minutes, and 48 seconds in the car.
I'm not sure if the car in the pictures is a real one, probably not, I think it's a replica. A pretty good one too. That sort of thing doesn't bother me too much. I did in fact drool over it for most of the day.

Road Trip To Biarritz and the Waves And Wheels Event
I jumped in the van and picked up Conrad and Paul and off we went. Took the big, 24 hour ferry from Portsmouth to Santander in Spain. After that it was a short 250km hop to Biarritz. So a weekend of sun, bikes, friends, good food, beer and the beach then. Vincent and the other Southsiders worked really hard to make sure everything went according to plan, in a French sort of way if you know what I mean. Good times indeed. Only low point was running out of gas on a brand new, borrowed, Ducati Monster miles from anywhere. I was wondering what that yellow light on the dash panel was all about.
