And Coming To A Town Near You....
Matt and Dean,
We are Wheelies Motorcycles here in Victoria BC Canada, we are a 60s inspired full custom bike shop (we only service pre 84 bikes and have full in house upholstery), on top of that we have a 20 seat licensed gourmet food joint under the same roof (Check out our instagram account for best shots). We are throwing our Grand Opening Party here Saturday August 9th from 2-7pm. We’ve got 3 bands playing in our parking lot, The Vicious Cycles Mc, Ellice Blackout and The Shakedown. On top of that full pig in spit bbq and a ton of beers. There will also be a half pipe in the lot and a bunch of sick old vans. We also will have overnight bike parking for anyone who can’t ride out to the after party at Lucky Bar, where The Gypsy Hacks & the Vicious Cycles will be playing. If you’re out this way please come on down and check out our shop.
Thanks,
Jay
Hey guys,
Ryan Jones here, from Echo Park, Los Angeles. Last summer I helped to produce the Wet Hot Summer Van Show in Hollywood. I also write music reviews in Rolling Heavy Magazine. I would like to invite you and your friends to an event I'm throwing at the end of August in Bandit Town. I hope that by now you have already heard of it, but if not, here ya go. Custom vans and custom bikes, psych and rock bands from LA and SF (Golden Void, Zig Zags, Cosmonauts, Fresh & Onlys and more...). Two days and two nights campout. Tickets are on sale now. More details here
Cheers!
Ryan Jones
Hey there Matt,
So glad to have gotten a chance to meet you at Born Free. I am e-mailing you in response to our conversation about my show here in Boise. Great builders like Matt from Wrecked Metals, Todd from Small City Cycles, Mike from Old-Stf and Mike from Union Motorcycle Classics. I am working on others as well but I'm so stoked to have the amazing quality builders that i do. Info here.
Speak to you soon.
Regards
Jerry Poe.

Testing Testing One Two, Testing One Two.
Got a Go Pro from Tina as a birthday present so we thought we would test it out on a beautiful evening in Mallorca. Great scooter, scary brakes. Sorry about the sound, I didn't even know a Go pro had a microphone till now. Man the things we will be able to do with this little gizmo. Look out for lots of helmet cam motorcycle riding videos. Yikes!

How To Louver 1932 Ford Hood Tops.
Kiwi Kev is the man. Top bloke, loves Hot Rods and Dr Feelgood...what else can I say?!
He was nice enough to expertly Louver my 1932 Ford hood tops with the Louver press he made himself!

"For almost three years, my husband has been building this bike. When we first started dating, I remember spending every other night in the garage as he tore it down, chopped it, and hard tailed it. After that, I hurdled pieces of it in a barely 100 sq ft apartment to catch a bus every morning. This bike became part of our family. I swear it was the first sound my daughter heard, along with Dad swearing because the timing STILL wasn't right. My husband worked on this bike every day after work until he was too pissed off at it to give it any more work for the day. And finally it's reached a point where it's 'done'. I say that loosely because everyone knows these finicky damn bikes are never 'done'. I even earned my stripes on this bike. Hell, my left thigh is still numb from a ride a week ago down a gravel road."

"Hi Matt and Dean, I've finally got the shop open in Venice. The address is 904 Pacific Ave. I'd love to see you guys if you ever have a free moment to drop by. I would love to head back to TriCo (I live on the West Side now), but I'm working at the store six days a week. I'm trying to get some more ink done by Brian at Dark Horse, so maybe I'll be able to make it at some point after all. Anyways, I wanted to thank you all for the help that you gave me early in this process and share some images of the final product. The store came out looking great. I collaborated on the design with Ben Phillips and Florence Tang, who I think that you guys know. Sonny Boy did the logo and Shawn McKinney did the sign painting, so I've kept it in the family over here! I also wanted to check in with you guys about possibly selling a few issues of Dice each month at the store. Let me know if that's something you might be interested in. Thanks again and ride safe"
Charlie.
Always good to see independent stores opening up. More power to all of us, (slightly) less power to the corporate world.

Two New Items For The Summer
It's a tank-top summer! By far the most requested item on the Dice booth at Born Free was a men's tank-top in black. So here it is. Made in the US by American Apparel and printed with our Moon Chopper design. We only made 100 of these and when they're gone they are gone. A ribbed stretchy good fit so if you want it baggy please order a bigger size.
Dice/Ornamental Conifer design. We sold out of this shirt sometime ago. So by popular demand we had them redone, only this time it's black on red. A vintage style, super soft Tee.
Both available right H E R E
