If you like to skate, or know a little skateboard history then this holy place needs no introduction. Countless video and magazine features have been shot here over the years. It's under a bridge on a piece of no mans land that was once occupied by bums and rats. Some local skaters hand trowled the first cement in 1990, the city embraced it and locals have been adding to it bit by bit ever since whenever funds and materials (or lack of them) allowed. It was my first time there and I really enjoyed just observing and soaking it all up, wonderful.
