The Castle is also home to a brewery. Patrick started brewing beer here in 2008 and has perfected the art, a 2011 gold medal winner Krenkerup beer is so bloody good. Tasty and made with
passion it's brewed using Danish malting
barley and according to the German purity law from 1516. A way of brewing using only water, malt, hops and yeast. This stuff doesn't have any added enzymes, e-numbers, additives or added colouring. We drank it for 3 days straight barely stopping for food and I can confirm that there was not one splitting headache hangover amongst the whole lot of us. Cheers.
